Founder & maker, Trista, is a full time Registered Nurse in Calgary who formulates all her own recipes using evidence based practice & handcrafts products locally. On a quest to declutter her life from plastic, she wanted to share her passion for superfoods & clean beauty while promoting a zero waste lifestyle.
Wild Rose Brewery
Wild Rose Brewery is an All-Star For Kids! Cool off all month long and enjoy a pint at the Wild Rose Brewery Taproom (4580 Quesnay Wood Dr SW). Twenty-five (25) cents from every pint of Electric Avenue Blonde sold during the month of August will be donated to All-Stars For Kids… and matched!
Shaw Charity Classic – Chip in for Kids
Shaw is an All-Star For Kids! Shaw invites you to #ChipinforKids by texting KIDS027 to 30333 to donate $10 and help support mentoring in your community. Until August 15, 2021 Shaw will match your donation and the matched donation will then be matched again by the Shaw Charity Classic. Your $10 can grow into a donation of $30 to All-Stars For Kids.
District Fitness
Join District Fitness on Saturday, August 7 and Saturday, August 28 for an outdoor fitness class and be an All-Star For Kids! The 50 minute total body HIIT classes will be held at Glenmore Athletic Park from 9:30-10:20AM. Admission for each class is $15, with 50% of funds raised being donated to All-Stars For Kids… and matched!
District Fitness loves to sweat it out for a good cause! Combining strength and challenging cardio, you can expect a unique HIIT class for individuals of all fitness levels. The classes are different, the movement is creative and the playlists are designed to keep you motivated throughout the 50-minutes. Low impact or high impact, you can modify the class to meet your fitness level and personal goals. You can find District sweating it out outdoors, online through their live interactive classes and through their on-demand Sweat Collection online library for 10-60 minute workouts.
Started by best friends and former Calgary fitness instructors, Alyson and Meghan, District was created to offer a more interactive online workout experience (and now in person!) with fun music, creative movement and a community feel wherever they are.
Living Room Yogis
Join Living Room Yogis at one (or both) of their classes and be an All-Star For Kids!
- Enjoy Vinyasa + Velvet Fog in the Barracks Room at Wild Rose Brewery on Thursday, August 26 at 6:00PM. Cool down after class with a free pint for all participants.
- Sunday Funday starts with a Gentle Flow on August 29 at 10:00AM. Saje Wellness in Mount Royal Village has generously offered to host with light refreshments after class, and a 10% shopping discount for participants.
There is a minimum donation amount of $10 to register for these events. 100% of funds raised will be donated to All-Stars For Kids… and matched!
Living Room Yogis was cofounded by Erica Davis and Jocelyn Zorzit, both Baptiste Certified Yoga Instructors. The best part of yoga is that all you need is your body, breath and mat. The intention of Living Room Yogis is to teach students that yoga can be done anywhere; whether you are in your living room, bedroom, patio, hotel room or backyard.
